As I begin research for my first documentary I have been watching many documentaries online to try and decide what direction I want to take my documentary in. I have so many ideas . As a young black woman, I can say this documentary is hitting home. My whole life I have dreamed of getting married and having a family. When I was little I played with my black barbies. They never intermixed. It was always Kristie and Steven . I pictured my life with a black man. But now as the pickings get slimmer. I realize I may have to reevaluate my dream and that may include black and white.
